Temporary Respite

Okay, so I haven't been blogging in a while. Scratch that, make that a long while. Hold on, I'll continue blogging later. I kinda got distracted and ended up doing all sorts of other things online. It's now 1:17 AM, and I should be going to bed now.

I'll explain as much detail as I can remember since I last blogged.

Life Lessons From Walking

I learned a lot of my life's lessons. The weird but oh so interesting way I learned them in the first place was from watching the art of walking. Don't believe me? Here they are:

Walking too fast made me tired, and walking too slow never got me anywhere. From this, it was clear to me that I should always move a moderate pace in life, never too fast, never too slow.

I learned to always keep a realistic outlook in life. This was because each time I spent looking down while walking, I missed all the great views, and whenever I kept my head up high, I would constantly bump into things and get my feet and shoes dirty.

Focus and destination became lessons from walking. If I wasn't focused, or didn't have a destination in mind, I often got lost, tired, or at the very least, I'd hit a tree.

I learned that life has it's ups and downs, and that just because the destination has a lot of curves, corners and obstacles, it shouldn't stop me, and when each time I get past them, I'll always be much (or at least a little bit) more experienced.

The proper attire should always be worn, because I found that running in stiff boots always hurt, and certain shoes do not feel comfortable in muddy area.

Walking helped make me realize that exercise is not only good for the body, but good for the mind and soul as well.

Looks and appearances no longer matter to me, because I've learned that expensive shoes do not necessarily make good, polite people and shabby shoes do not often make the person pitiful or useless.
